The kit identifies the real beer spoiling bacteria species of Lactobacillus and Pediococcus, the anaerobic beer spoiling bacteria Megasphaera and Pectinatus species as well as the superattenuating yeasts Dekkera (Brettanomyces) and Saccharomyces cerevisiae var. diastaticus.
